ABOUT US
The Limon Heritage Museum & Railroad Park is an exciting place to explore! Conveniently located off I-70, our 5 acre complex will instantly engage you with our multitude of artifacts, collections, and displays.
Step back in time and imagine taking a trip on the Rock Island Railroad as you enter our lovingly-restored Railroad Depot built in 1910. Board our Caboose & Dining Car and picture yourself riding the rails in the 1940’s.
Travel back to the early days of the frontier prairie as you walk into our One-Room School House built in 1894.
As you stroll the museum grounds, take special notice of the Antique Windmills and Farm Machinery as well as the beautifully maintained gardens.
Our expansive Exhibit Building contains many historical displays that vividly trace the roots and progress of the Limon area, including the Prairie Voices Gallery and Our Military History exhibit.
So come on out and catch a glimpse of the rich history of Limon and the surrounding Eastern Colorado plains. We can't wait to see you!
